The history of Renault
The French car manufacturer Renault was established in 1898 by Louis Renault. They quickly had success in motoring, as well as in supplying taxis in Paris. Today, the brand is still very visible in motoring. To mention just one thing, Renault is amongst the top performers in Formula 1.
The company also used to manufacture lorries, tractors and buses, to mention only a few. However, those parts of the company have been sold off. On the other hand, today, Renault owns the car brands Dacia and Lada, and they have shares in the Japanese Nissan and the German Daimler (Mercedes), amongst others.

- Renault Twingo: Microcar launched back in 1993, available as a 5-door hatchback. It comes with either a 0.9L or 1.0L petrol engine.
- Renault Zoe: Electric minicar that first saw the light of day in 2012. It comes with a 22 kW battery giving a range of up to 249 miles on a full charge. Renault Zoe sold a little more than 600 cars in Denmark in 2016.

- Renault Megane: Small mid-sized car that has been in production since 1995. It is available as a 3-door and 5-door hatchback, a 5-door estate car, a 4-door saloon and a 2-door cabriolet. It is available with a 1.2L or 2.0L petrol engine as well as a diesel engine of between 1.5L and 2.0L.

- Renault Captur: 5-door mini-SUV launched in 2013. It is available with either a 0.9L and 1.2L petrol engine or a 1.5L diesel engine.
- Renault Espace: 7 seater MPV, available in a 5-door model only. It is available with a 1.6L petrol engine as well as a 1.6L diesel engine.
- Renault Kadjar: 5-door SUV launched in 2015. It comes with a 1.2L petrol engine, as well as a 1.5L or 1.6L diesel engine.
- Renault Scenic: 5-door compact MPV that has been in production since 1996. It is available with a 1.2L petrol engine, as well as a 1.2L diesel engine
