It is crucial to verify that the OEM numbers on your vehicle match those listed, as this ensures correct fitment and alignment of the new hinges. When replacing rear hood hinges, it is often practical to also inspect the gas struts or dampers that support the hatch, as these can wear over time and affect the function of the new hinges. Choosing a used part from Autoparts24 supports sustainability by extending the life of an existing component, reducing the demand for new manufacturing and the associated environmental impact. This part is also likely compatible with other vehicles based on the same VW MQB platform, including certain model years of the Seat Alhambra, although direct fitment should always be confirmed against the specific part number.
