About Ford S-Max

Ford S-Max was launched in 2006 to fill the gap between Ford C-Max and Ford Galaxy. With its combination of the roominess of an MPV with the sport features from a sedan, it covers this need.

It is available as a 5-door MPV and with a petrol engine of up to 2.5 litres or a diesel engine of up to 2.2 litres, and it is built on the same platform as both Ford Galaxy and Ford Mondeo.

The car has been popular right from the start, and it was voted Car of the Year in Europe in 2007. 2010 saw a facelift version being launched; it included, among other things, a smaller design update to the exterior as well as the addition of newer engine types and new optional accessories, such as rear camera and lane assistant.

The car’s safety is also top notch. It scored five of five stars in the Euro NCAP’s crash tests.
