It can quickly become expensive when the car needs a repair. Parts are far from cheap. And the car tends to break down at the worst possible moment. It’s always when you also need money for everything else.
But if you choose second-hand parts for your Volvo instead of brand new ones, you can save a lot of money.
Second-hand parts? How is that possible?
When a car has reached the end of its life, it ends up at a car breaker. However, although the car has been taken to the car breaker, some of the parts may well still work. For example, parts that were replaced shortly before scrapping,
or parts from a car totalled in an accident. Although the car is totalled, certain parts of it may well be undamaged.
The parts that can still be used are dismantled and prepared for reuse. This process costs far less than the production of new parts. This means that you can buy the parts at a far lower price than if you bought new ones.
Warranty on auto parts without any problems
But do second-hand parts last as long as new parts? This question makes many people choose new parts instead. However, you don’t need to worry about this, because we give a full warranty on all second-hand auto parts.

Behind Volvo
The history of Volvo goes all the way back to 1924. Here, the founders Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larson started working on the first Volvo.
In 1927, the factory started to mass-produce cars. The first one was the convertible “ÖV 4”, followed by the closed version “PV 4” the following year. In the first two years, the factory produced almost 1000 cars.
Volvo Car Corporation – which builds Volvo cars – was part of Volvo Group until 1999. Among other things, Volvo Group also makes lorries and buses. In 1999, Volvo Car Corporation was acquired by the Ford Group, which was behind production until 2010.
After prolonged negotiations, Volvo Car Corporation was sold to the Chinese car manufacturer Geely Automobile in 2010.
